Welcome to Go Green Baby Co.! My name is Jennifer and my family & I own and operate this web site & brick & mortar in Salisbury, Maryland!
A little background on Jenn -
I'm a wife to a wonderful and supportive husband, Jamie and a mom to two wonderful boys, Joshua (6 years) and Daniel (19 months) and Caroline (our newborn). Jamie and I have always wanted to do something together that would benefit our family and allow me to stay home with our children. I have been a SAHM now for 15 months and as you'll read below - you'll see why we wanted to open up Go Green Baby Co. It's been a passion of ours to work for ourselves but provide services and products to consumers that would help them, their families and the environment. Our love and passion for our family and environment morphed into Go Green Baby Co. - a retailer of affordable, fun, quality products for you and your baby!
We got the idea for Go Green Baby Co. because we wanted to start cloth diapering my then eight month old son. We connected with another great friend and mom, Patti (who is the Customer Service Manager with BabyKicks - you may recognize the name from their great line of Hemp Pre-Folds and Joey-Bunz) and immediately realized that we needed to offer a place for other moms to connect and get excited about Cloth Diapering and other fun baby topics! When I wanted to cloth diaper Daniel, I wanted to touch and feel the diapers, see what a Pocket vs. an All-in-One diaper really was - and I couldn't! Patti was kind enough to take me on a tour of the BabyKicks facility and I fell in LOVE with the hemp prefolds and Joey Bunz! We've been cd'ing ever since!
So we decided to open up a local Organic & Natural Baby & Family store in Salisbury, MD. We realized that since I was 6 months pregnant at the time we conceived this idea - it wasn't feasible to open the brick & mortar store anytime soon, so we decided to start with our very own online store with the same concept as our brick & mortar.
So our goal is to offer moms all across the world with a place to connect, a place to purchase fun, affordable, quality products for our precious babies and little ones and to help our environment at the same time! We want our customers to know that most of your purchases from our website are items that are made with organic or natural ingredients and the ones that are not - are a splurge, something fun for you & your baby (we all need that once in a while)!
